Judgement begins at the House of God (1 Samuel 2:12 to 36)

In contrast to the young boy Samuel, faithfully worshipping in the temple, the sons of the high priest Eli, profane the name of God. God will judge them, but at the same time he is going to preserve his people by raising up a faithful priesthood and a great prophet.
